Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Boston - Downtown
Job Description: As a Senior Business Analyst (SBA), you will oversee the new project pipeline to ensure project opportunities are properly assessed and reviewed by the Project Review and Prioritization Committee (PRPC). As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will identify new business opportunities and coordinate with the Relationship Management function to work closely with business partners to build business cases, scope projects, develop cost estimates, and prepare project request presentations for PRPC. You will also work with the PMO to determine the appropriate PMO resources to allocate to projects.
The SBA will demonstrate a high level of expertise in overall systems design, including work process flows, database structures, data integrity and consistency. This role provides support to Project Managers in coordinating and/or executing project tasks, gathering business requirements, producing project documentation and communicating with business partners. To gather data on what business requirements should be included during the design stage, you must thoroughly understand the Bank’s business areas, and the issues and challenges facing the organization and industry in general. Additional project tasks may include, among other things, preparing project related training and testing materials, and working closely with the technical team to test implemented solutions, record and track technical issues and verify that any needed changes are implemented.

•Identifies opportunities for business process optimization

Education:
BA/BS required in an analytical major including information technology, accounting, economics, computer and information science, and statistics.
Experience:
•5-7 years Banking or other financial services experience
•Familiarity with project management methodologies
•Experience working on complex project teams
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project & Visio
•Process engineering experience (Lean, Six Sigma, Rummler Brache) a plus
