Title: Commercial Lending Administrative Officer

Location: Boston - Downtown

Job Description: The Administrative Officer is responsible, individually and in a support capacity, for overseeing systems, training and strategic planning within Commercial Lending.

Roles & Responsibilities:

System Administration: Oversee the integration and technology support of the Commercial Banking Loan System (HCL Capital Stream/SCOPE). Coordinate and supervise loan system specific training for Commercial Lending Staff. Work closely with the SCOPE System Administrator and the SPECTRUM Team to ensure proper integration of the Commercial Lending System with other Bank Systems. Liaison with Technology to provide support of secondary systems (Synergy, FISERV, etc.) utilized by Commercial Lending Staff. Ensure proper resources (manuals, best practices, training) are current and available to Staff. Coordinate the resolution of system issues.

Training: Work closely with Human Resources and Commercial Banking management to develop and coordinate training for all staff levels within Commercial Lending.

Secondary Duties: Strategic Initiative Coordinator: Provide Administrative support as needed towards the development and implementation of Strategic Initiatives. For example, assist in the development of prospect lists and monitoring of target marketing efforts. Ensure communication and coordination of staff in and out of Commercial Lending.

General Administrative Duties: Coordinate Department off-sites. Interface with HR regarding Semi-annual and Annual performance reviews (Halogen proficiency required). Create PowerPoint presentations for internal/external meetings. Assist with planning and oversight of special projects.

Risk Management: Work closely with the Chief Lending officer, Chief Credit Officer, Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and CRE Portfolio Manager to develop reporting to assist in the tracking and management of the Commercial Loan Portfolio. Work with internal and external audit and loan review, regulators, BPB Risk Management and BPFH Risk Management to assist in their review of the CML Portfolio.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Solid Teamwork orientation.
5+ years of Commercial Banking/Administration experience. Knowledge of existing Boston Private Bank policies, systems and procedures is preferred.
Project Management experience is preferred.
Proven ability to grasp new technology. Solid working knowledge of Synergy, FISERV, Microsoft Office.
